Meet Our Team

Before you come in and see us, we'd like you to get to know a little bit about each of our staff members. Each person on our team loves what they do and every person plays a special role in the success of our company. Remember - we're here for you! Whether you visit us as a consignor or a buyer, we want you to feel at home at Riverbridge Resale and Consignment.

In 2004, Kay and Danny George opened their doors.  With their passion for serving others as a driving force, and Kay's interest in home decorating as well as a desire to provide a refreshing alternative to conventional resale methods - Riverbridge Resale and Consignment was born!

Like you, Kay likes to redecorate her home to keep things fresh and exciting. Often times, our surroundings get stale and boring, not because of a lack of desire for change, but rather the difficulty of finding affordable home furnishings and selling our existing items.

Kay and Danny saw that many of the Houston area home associations did not allow garage sales in their neighborhoods and was keenly aware that classified advertising tends to be frustrating and time consuming. They saw a great need for a resale and consignment shop and put their passions to work for their community.  Even though Danny has a full time job elsewhere, Riverbridge benefits from his many skills.

Peggy Knapp - Pricing

Pricing Peggy, as she's called, is the employee who has been at Riverbridge the longest. Since September of 2005, Peggy has been carefully pricing the smaller pieces and accessories that accent the beautiful display of furnishings at Riverbridge.

Peggy is originally from the east, where she taught nursing for 45 years. After moving to Montgomery, she decided to pursue an interest in consignment and joined Kay at Riverbridge. She enjoys her friendly work environment and likes interacting with the many consignors.

Peggy spends much of her free time browsing antiques and collectibles, gardening, cooking and reading. She is married and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She and her husband are also actively involved in many community groups in April Sound where they live.

Cindy Merryman - Lead Sales Associate

Cindy is a long time resident of Conroe.  She is married with 2 children, 3 dogs, and 1 cats.  Cindy has a love for anything dealing with the outdoors, especially water activities.  

We are delighted to have Cindy's enthusiasm here at Riverbridge.  She knows so many people in this area, and her bubbly personality is contagious.  Try to get a glimpse of her when you visit our store.  She is always on the move helping out where needed.

Cindy visited our store on many occasions and jumped at the chance to join our sales staff in the summer of 2007.  She says that she LOVES everything about her job, especially the wonderful people with which she works around.

Cory Merryman - Sales and Marketing

Deidra Pisha - Sales Associate

Deidra lends a humorous side to our day.  She joins the rank of all of the animal lovers here at Riverbridge.  She loves yard work and grilling.  There isn't anything that Deidra doesn't tackle and succeed at.  She has a knowledge of just about anything.  Deidra is a retired flight attendent and nurse. Deidra is also bilingual.

Mary Faldoe - Sales Associate

Mary is such a great help when customers need that extra touch.  She is a wonderful addition to our staff.  She has been with us since February 2010.  Mary enjoys people, working, singing, dancing, and just enjoying life. She has many stories to share with you.  Just ask her about her bilingual dog.  Mary is the official self-appointed parade queen for the Walden Fourth of July celebration.  She is a regular in the Walden Follies.

Becky Winchell- Sales Associate

Bobbie Parrish - Interior Design

Bobbie has worked for many years in the design field in Conroe and the Houston area.  Take a look around at the different room views with Bobbie's touch.  Bobbie likes gardening and staying busy.  She loves to work, see people, and the turnovers in Riverbridge.  It is like coming to a new job every day.  Ask Bobbie or Kay to see how we can assist you with your decorating needs.

Erik Linch - Sales Associate

Erik, one of our newest employees, is a great addition to the Riverbridge team. He helps to move furniture around the store and entertain customers with his sense of humor. Erik is a husband and also a father of three children. He is a big sports fan. He loves to play soccer and watch the Texans football games.  

Marcy Bradley - Pricing

Marcy is our second pricing person.  She enjoys looking up the items as she assigns a price to each.  Always ready to research when necessary. Her degree in mathematics makes her determined to get all of the facts.  She is a traveler who enjoys seeing new places with her husband.  A Starbucks lover from Colorado Marcy also loves to cook, read, and enjoy her two grandchildren.
